This photo presented itself on a recent trip to the east end of Loong Island, NY.  The South fork of the east end is known for it's big homes and pretty beaches however the North fork, just a few short miles away is know for its long rocky beaches and big cliffs overlooking the Long Island Sound.  Every now and then you find a stairway that leads to a beach and someties it leads to a little bit more....

   Nubble Light - York, Maine

   July Sunrise at the Nubble light in York Maine is always a treat.  The sun rises a few minutes after 5 AM, so you have to be there early.  The good part about that is there is usally very few people there - yourself an a coupe of other photographers.  This particular morning there was nothing dramatic going in the sky behind the lighthouse and there were no elements weather elements we like to see when photographing lighthouses (think fog).  So I decided to get...
