Back home on Long Island and visiting many of the island's coastal and harbor scenes that I know so well.  One evening I decided to visit the beach closet to my home here on the north shore of Long Island.  This beach is home to many wind surfers and paddle boarders.  It also offers a nice view to the west so that means it is a good spot to view the setting sun.  I have always found the large collect of kayaks...

This week I took a quick overnight trip to Rockport, Massachusetts.  Actually is was a scheduled overnight trip to drop my son off at The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Ma for orientation.  Nothing against Worcester, it is a lovely city but for photo opportunities I figured my chances were better if I made the hour and fifteen minute drive to Rockport and spent the night there.  This offered me one sunset and one sunrise in Rockport.  Hopefully the weather...

This week started with the completion of the West Virginia trip.  The trip was a bust for evening and morning light but provided excellent conditions for waterfalls and other landscape opportunities.  One of those "other" landscape opportunities was a foggy trip on to the Dolly Sods Wildness in the Monongahela National Forest.  The original plan was to head up to the top for sunrise images.  Half way up it because apparent that the fog was just not going to let that happen....

Spring has sprung on Long Island.  The grays and blues of the winter season have been replace by the green and yellows of spring.   it takes a while to get started but once it does it happens quickly.  This weeks photo was taken at a section of Long Island's Greenbelt trail.  The trail which is open to both hikers and bicycles.  The trail when taken in its entirety spans from the Island's North Shore to the South Shore and the ocean...

April 16th and 23rd

Second and third week of April have been busy.  The Eater Holiday and a trip to Bermuda.  This post I will include two images to make up for this time period.  Both will be from Bermuda.  This is my first ever trip to Bermuda.  My cameras of Choice was the Fujifilm X-T2 and the X100T.  One wide angle lens (10-24mm), one telephone (18 - 135 mm) and one prime 35mm f2.  This is my small easy to travel on a plane kit....
