This week started with the completion of the West Virginia trip.  The trip was a bust for evening and morning light but provided excellent conditions for waterfalls and other landscape opportunities.  One of those "other" landscape opportunities was a foggy trip on to the Dolly Sods Wildness in the Monongahela National Forest.  The original plan was to head up to the top for sunrise images.  Half way up it because apparent that the fog was just not going to let that happen....

This week I attended a photographic workshop in the Blackwater State Park and Canaan River Valley region of West Virginia.   The Mountain landscape in this part of West Virginia is abundant with wooded waterfalls and beautiful vistas.  The workshop was lead by Joseph Rossbach though Adventures in Light Workshops .  The  weather for the four day workshop was conducive to stream and waterfall photography, but we were skunked on morning and evening light for the vistas.  So waterfalls it was.  We...
