It’s mid to late March and winter has decided to return the northeastern United States. This week required a short overnight trip to Vermont for some non-photography related business. That does not mean I do not have a camera with me, just no scheduled photo time or locations. With plenty of March snow and un-March like temperatures, Vermont happens to look and feel like mid-January. Rising at sunrise to head out for home the outside temperature was 2F degrees and that means the water vapor in the air above the river and streams will freeze to the tree branches directly above the water. When back-lit by a strong late-March sunrise it creates a nice mood. This weeks’ photo taken on the Otterquechee River as it winds its way through Woodstock, Vermont.
