This week starts as last week ended – in Boston’s North End. All the same photo opportunities mentioned in the previous post still exists and the weather continues to cooperate. Once the Feast of St. Anthony’s concluded I changed my focus (pun intended) to the Boston Harbor. Ever since the Sons of Liberty decided to throw a Tea Party in 1773 Boston’s Harbor has been alive with activity. Always a good thing for photos. Boston Harbor is most photogenic in the mornings and sunrise in particular. Most of the harbor is very accessible by foot, with 47 miles of trails known as the Harbor Walk. For my purposes I am interested in the one or two mile stretch in and around the Wharf. This is the center of the tourist parts on the Harbor and offer excellent views with plenty of foreground and background. My photo for this week is the result of a Monday Morning stroll along a Long Wharf section of the Harbor Walk.
