Spring is in full swing on Long Island. All the colors of Spring are in full display. One of my favorite spots for every season here on Long Island is Caumsett State Park on Llyods Neck in Huntington. The heavily forested coastal park was once the estate of Marshall Fields III and is beautifully situated high above the Long Island Sound. There are countless wooded trails that all eventually lead to coastal beaches, salt marshes, and cliffs. The park is home to both multiple bird species and other animals such as deer and fox.
This particular week I was there with my bicycle looking for the spring vegetation. I was looking to catch all the colors draped in the soft light of a bright cloudy day.
