July Sunrise at the Nubble light in York Maine is always a treat. The sun rises a few minutes after 5 AM, so you have to be there early. The good part about that is there is usally very few people there – yourself an a coupe of other photographers. This particular morning there was nothing dramatic going in the sky behind the lighthouse and there were no elements weather elements we like to see when photographing lighthouses (think fog). So I decided to get a little creative and do a little HDR and that add some softening elelments to give it a drreamlike quality – which is were the name York Dream comes from.
